Joie de Weekend

Jonathan told me that I should research cool stuff to do this weekend, and I must say that I got a little overzealous. I'm not telling him where we are going (my favorite path of least-resistance masked as a fun surprise) but I will tell YOU that it is going to be quite the fun little adventure. Warm, cozy clothes plus beautiful stuff to see always equals a damn good time.

As for tonight, my handsome two-eyed beau (Jonny got LASIK) got tickets to the Raphael Saadiq concert at the Wiltern. I don't know his music that well, but I've heard some of his stuff lately and it is really good. Although it's quite the departure from my recent Beatle-mania (I'm 40 years late, I know, but I can't take Revolver out of my CD player).

PS. You know when you just see something and you have to buy it right now? I don't know why but I need this henley. $20 says I will run there as fast as a can after work, try it on, and cry because it isn't very cute on.
