A few weeks ago I posted a little picture of a coat I was interested in at Anthropologie. When I scurried over to the store to try it on, I was very unpleasantly surprised to see it looked awful on me. I mean, my-boyfriend-is-laughing-at-me awful. I don't know if there was a lesson learned, I just wanted everyone to know that this coat is really deceiving, because it looks so cute and dream-like but really it makes you look like you have octo-baby bearing hips. You've been warned:

it's almost embarrassing to post this pictureBut in the spirit of maintaining joie de vivre, I guess I should add in something happy and positive, like "I was so surprised that the coat didn't look cute on me, since I look
very cute in everything!"
This dilemma is what I deal with every time I walk into a store. Things look amazingly cute on the rack/hanger/mannequin, but the second you try them on..... "I don't think so". It's a shame really.
